This workshop with Cameron recognises that when we are working with clients, we are dealing with far more just biomechanics. Individuals are made up of a mixture of body, mind, thoughts, beliefs and more...and all of these must be taken into consideration.
Pilates is fantastic for helping clients with their physical awareness. But whilst restoring the body is one component, the major obstacles in back pain recovery continue to be fear of movement, depression and poor beliefs. Movement teachers have a significant role to play in restoring function, joy of movement and life in people with a history of low back pain.
This workshop has been developed from most up-to-date evidence and Cameron's years of experience in dynamic rehabilitation and cognitive approaches, and gives you a whole new view of approaching your 'back pain' clients. If you have ever had a “gut” feeling that people need to move more than you are maybe confident to teach...well, now you can explore and learn how to travel that road!
