The Coaching Series: An Introduction with Lynne Cavanagh-Cole
1m 49s
Welcome to 'The Coaching Series' with Lynne Cavanagh-Cole.
The Coaching Series comprises a series of short videos designed to encourage self-reflection and to enable you to work on the skills needed as a Pilates teacher and in normal day-to-day life when interacting with clients, colleagues and others.
By taking time to stop and re-evaluate how you approach your life and your business, you can highlight areas of development where change might be needed and also areas of strength, thereby leading to increased self-confidence and self-awareness.

After many years of teaching dance, Lynne transitioned into the Pilates industry in 1999. Initially using Pilates to overcome injury, she soon realised the potential to bring Pilates to the North East and after months of giving talks about what exactly Pilates was, Lynne set up the first dedicated Pilates studio in the region.
20 years later, three premises down and, with many years of experience as a member of the Body Control Pilates Education tutor team, she became more interested in the other things happening around the actual teaching of Pilates - client interactions, business decision-making, work/life balance. She embarked on Coaching training, only to end up wishing she’d used coaching years ago to support her through tough times over the years. She’s now committed to using Coaching as a way to support others through times of personal and professional change.
