Masterclass: Movement Exploration - Class 2 Part 1: Footwork with Hana
11m
Welcome back to the second in a series of masterclasses from Hana Jones which are all about exploring, observing and discussing movement, and what happens in our bodies when we perform the Pilates exercises we all know and love.
This second class has been split into two parts (this is part one). In this section, Hana continues to work with April to observe and elicit natural movement responses in her body when performing exercises. The focus is on preparing for 'Footwork' exercises on the Reformer (which are performed in part 2 of this class) and using the power of visualisation when we carry out the movements.

Pilates has been at the centre of Hana's physical self-practice for 50 years. It continues to offer her new insights and understanding as her body changes with the passing years.
Having trained as an apprentice to Gordon Thomson when he opened his first studio in Covent Garden in late 1982 and through her subsequent experiences as a studio owner and teacher trainer, regularly returning to the anatomy of the body in movement and the fundamental principles of the Pilates Method has helped Hana to keep evolving as a teacher.
Hana loves working with Pilates teachers who are curious and who want to continue learning and growing in order to keep their own teaching interesting and lively.
