Masterclass: The Zone of Apposition (MOTR class) with Dr Suzanne Martin

22m
The ribcage and abdominal pathways are mechanically coupled through the 'Zone of Apposition', the area from the inside of the bottom ribs where the respiratory diaphragm attaches, to the top of the diaphragm.
Optimising the Zone of Apposition (ZOA) for our clients is a critical element in minimising neck pain and low back pain, as well as participating in the creation of calming mood states due to various breathing patterns affecting emotion.
This masterclass with Suzanne covers exercises using the Balanced Body MOTR, which combines a foam roller with three weight level resistances.
For more information on the MOTR, visit https://www.pilates.com/BBAPP/V/store/motr.html.
