These exercises use leg, arm and spinal movements to add variation into a position that can be quite a challenge. By combining movements, we can use side-lying as a place to develop whole body range and control.

Originally from a dance background, Lynne spent many years teaching dance in the community as well as lecturing at Further Education and Higher Education levels. Lynne has been qualified as a Body Control Pilates teacher for 15 years and is our Regional Co-ordinator in the North East of England. Lynne is a senior member of our Matwork Teacher Training tutor team and regularly teaches courses for Body Control Pilates, both in the UK and internationally.
