Pilates for Hypermobility

Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) can be a life-altering and debilitating health condition, caused by an abnormal response by the autonomic (automatic) nervous system. Simply standing up can be a challenge for affected people as their body is unable to adjust to gravity, thereby making exercising difficult.
In this intermediate level class, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Pilates teacher and PoTS sufferer, Lorna Nicholson, looks at exercises which are suitable for clients who are able to work in both on the mat and in a standing position.
