In this final video of James' 'Understanding the Foot' series, James puts all we've learnt into practice by looking at exercises for the ankles and feet, with a focus on those from the Body Control Pilates repertoire.

James Earls is a writer, lecturer and bodyworker specialising in functional bodywork and anatomy.
Increasing the understanding and practice of manual therapy has been a passion of James’ since he first started practicing bodywork over 20 years ago.
He is a regular lecturer at conferences and workshops around the world. Renowned for his relaxed and humorous style, James is a popular presenter whose subject is applicable for a wide-ranging audience that includes osteopaths, physiotherapists, massage therapists and movement therapists.
James has combined his knowledge of comparative anatomy and myofascial dynamics with gait to write ‘Born to Walk’ , presenting a full body description of functional anatomy of locomotion. James spent his lockdown years writing another text - ‘Understanding the Human Foot’ which forms the basis for much of the material in this video series.
