This mat-based workout with Kathy focuses on lateral work and helps you to connect and open out the side of the body.

Kathy is a London-based Body Control Pilates teacher. She is a member of the Body Control Pilates teacher training team on both the Matwork Certification Course as well as on a variety of ‘teacher courses’. She has taught mat-based classes privately and to small groups for the past 15 years and has had a dedicated Yoga practice for nearly as long.
A New Yorker by birth, Kathy is fortunate to travel regularly to both east and west coasts in the USA where she delights in attending workshops and courses in both Pilates and Yoga. The integration of these movement forms finds its expression in her classes, which focus on increasing body awareness, strength and flexibility through mindful flow of movement. Yoga and Pilates do not fuse together as one, but rather affect and inform one another to enable the sheer pleasure of moving freely, easily and well, both in and out of class.
